One of my market leading client is urgently looking for an Audio and Video Engineer to join their team in Romania. This is a great opportunity to work in the IT sector with exposure to new technologies and an international environment
Responsibilities:
- Employ a range of techniques to analyse problems and evaluate multiple solutions against engineering, business & strategic criteria
- Design Audio and Video solutions using common design patterns and conduct peer reviews to ensure designs are fit for purpose, extensible & re-usable
- Deliver end to end first-class engineering solutions across a range of technology platforms
- Ensure stable and reliable production environments and high-quality user experience to customers
- Create or contribute to appropriate release artefacts that may include release schedules including milestones, release scope, risk, and issues
- Ability to write code and drive the adoption of automation tools
- Ensuring adherence to the SDLC process and other company demanded engineering and release management practices
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of Room Conferencing systems and infrastructure such as Telephony, Conference Rooms, and Cisco Unified Communications
- Solid understanding of the components and technologies that are utilized in small, medium and large conference rooms
- Scripting and program language skills
- Evidence of experience engineering and designing one or more combinations of the following Audio Visual technologies
- Jabra, Logitech, Microsoft, Cisco, Crestron, Mersive, Huddly, BiAmp, Nureva, NEC, Tripleplay, Lightware, Digital Streaming
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and platform components included but not limited to:
- Unix / Linux / Windows Server Systems and Desktops
- LAN, WAN, QoS and Data Networks
- Experience with tooling across the SDLC:
- JIRA, ServiceNow
- Confluence, Artifactory
- Good knowledge of testing and deployment automation frameworks and tools
