Azure Solution Architect – We are looking for an experienced Azure Solution Architect to join one of Europe’s largest and fastest-growing clients in a progressive and innovative international team on a 6+ months contract in Rotterdam.

Description:

As an Azure solution Architect, the candidate should be:
* Responsible for taking care of the implementation of Azure solutions in a consistent, qualitative, and maintainable manner
* Able to define, create and update technical DevOps solution architecture
* Strong expertise in core Azure principles
* Deep knowledge of analytics/ ML and application insight using leading enterprise tools
* Proven knowledge of enterprise application architecture analysis, design, integration, and tooling
* Able to define, create and update data ingestion framework
* Define, create, and update Data standardization and Data harmonization guidelines
* Responsible for taking care of the implementation of reporting and data solutions in a consistent, qualitative, and maintainable manner
* Ability to create architectural views, documentation, and roadmaps
* Customer and result-oriented
* Knowledge and experience with Scrum / Agile work
* Knowledge and experience with data testing and validation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation
* Good Communication skills (in English)

Required Skills:

* 10-15 years of IT experience mainly in Cloud technologies
* 5+ years of Azure Data Platform experience – Azure Kubernetes, Azure MLOps, Azure data lake, Azure Analysis services, Azure SQL database, Databricks, Azure functions, Data catalogue, Azure data factory, Azure DevOps, Azure logic apps, Event grids, Event hubs
* Microsoft Certificated Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Primary Responsibilities:

* Translate business needs to technical specifications
* Define Solution Approach and create the high-level design document
* Design and implement Azure data solutions
* Enforce technical governance, design, development and monitoring best practices
* Discuss with the customer and propose the best solution as per business requirements and NFRs
* Contribute to the design and implement the DevOps CI/CD pipelines with test automation
* Keep track of the evolution of Architecture / Technical debt KPIs, and Runtime Performance and recommend actions to improve findings
* Support fellow developers in the development and complex requirements
* Efficiently handle large sets of data and be able to confidently process them into required formats
