This is what you will do as a BI Specialist

You will be part of a Scrum Team within the Data, Innovation & Analysis (DIA) department, in one of the various clusters such as Commerce, Operations, Equipment, Stations and Staff. In these teams they are responsible for developing smart data solutions.
In our brand new Microsoft Azure cloud environment, you help build a data foundation in which all data sources are made accessible for operating models, dashboards, analyzes and other information products.
You often work together with colleagues in the chain within your team, the department and the business. You are a link in the construction and delivery process in which information products are realized from development to production. You offer solutions and make improvements.

As a BI specialist, you operate in a multidisciplinary team to jointly build our brand new Microsoft Cloud environment. You are the specialist when it comes to PowerBI, you are experienced in requesting requirements from the business and translating these into specifications and analyzing source data.

To successfully perform the position of BI specialist, you have, among other things:

• At least a completed HBO or WO education
• At least 3 years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence
• Experience with visualizing data using frontend BI tools, such as PowerBI
• Experience with Agile working
• Experience in data-driven control and business administration is a plus
• Experience with designing within Tabular model is an advantage
• Strong oral and written communication skills (Dutch), you can find your way in both the language of the business and that of technology
• (Basic) knowledge of Law and regulations, such as AVG (Data Compliancy) is an advantage
