Urgent Cisco Network Engineer on CISCO ACI Fabric Layer
We have an urgent position which is remote working for a consultant who can work inside IR35 on a contract role.The rate for this engagement is 400 GBP per day.
“Analyze the business needs, define detailed requirements based on holistic datacenter , network / business requirements”
- Implementation of Cisco ACI
- Ensure holistic solution design, making sure that cross-functional considerations are incorporated into the functional and technical design specifications, focusing on strategic business capabilities and requirements.
- Develop HLD, LLD, implementation plan and AS-BUILT documents
- Present the solutions/design/plan to the customers effectively
- Network strategy and consultancy services. (preparation and validation of BoM, network assessment reports, SoW and project plans)
- Closely work with Project Managers and customer technical authority and ensure smooth delivery of project deliverables
- Excellent understanding of Cisco ACI & Hands on experience in ACI implementation (hands-on experience Cisco ACI is a must)
- Excellent understanding of Load balancing, Underlay & Overlay, VXLAN, Micro segmentation, network fabric cloud, DNS, DHCP, IPAM solutions
- Expertise in datacenter migration
- Expertise in discovery and Network assessment
- Expertise in Network Solution and POC development for SDN – Infra & Networking
- Expertise in routing and switching
- Expertise in implementing advance NEXUS OS features
- Expertise in LAN,WAN,MPLS and Internet technologies
- Expertise in Implementing and troubleshooting Load balancers
- Expertise in Implementing and troubleshooting WAN Optimizers
- Expertise in Implementing and troubleshooting Firewall appliances
- Experience in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Java and JSON on various automation and integration requirements
- Experience in sequencing the activities, scheduling the tasks and preparing project plan.
- Experience in planning and conducting vigorous datacentre network tests and generating the detailed test reports
- Excellent documentation skills, create HLD, LLD test design for network transformation – Design and Architectural overview
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication”
