Business Analyst – D365 and P2P

We are working with a leading Eduction client based in UK.

This role is Outside IR35- 3 Days a week onsite in Nottingham.

Context

The RM Group has recognised that the core operational systems utilised in its Divisions need to evolve from the current in-house bespoke software towards a more conventional enterprise-wide ERP package centred model. This to support critical business objectives in the areas of: operational systems sustainability, process integration/efficiencies, the driving of business value from data and to support the integration needs of the Consortium acquisition. This has resulted in the establishment of the RM Evolution programme to progress the integrated strategic systems and associated business transformation and change delivery.

Business outcomes (role in support of)

• Process simplification – decrease the complexity of RM sales/service order processing (order to cash), product and pricing, procure-to-pay and CRM operational processes
• Common processes – deliver more consistent/common, consolidated and integrated product, supplier, SOP and CRM processes across the RM Group
• Product/Item/Customer model – definition and adoption of one common product data model internally within each Division and more widely across the RM Group
• Create efficiencies – reduce the resource intensive nature of some RM service, product and order administration
• Best practice – adopt practices and procedures closer to relevant industry best practices; where possible and where consistent with other business priorities
• Reporting & Analysis – improve CRM, financial administration, product, pricing and Order to Invoice reporting/analysis (this in effort to produce, timeliness, granularity and accuracy)

Role Description

The BA role is responsible for the hands-on analysis, process design and process change identification across the Evolution Programme as part of the MSD365 implementation. The BA will facilitate/hands-on deliver, the detailed progression of the processes and “operating model designs”, and be specifically responsible for marrying the business process design, business informational data model and the detailed solution design. The role will contribute to, and support, business process design, impact assessment and business change planning. This covering the core processes of:

• Core Finance
• Interest-to-Order
• Order-to-Cash
• Dispatch-to-invoice
• Procure-to-Pay
• Data and Reporting
