One of my market leading client is urgently looking for an Insider Threat Analyst to join their team in Switzerland. This is a great opportunity to work in the IT sector with exposure to new technologies and an international environment
Responsibilities:
- Utilize investigation techniques to deter, detect, and mitigate Insider Threat activity in collaboration with business, HR, line manager, and other key stakeholders
- Monitor, analyse, and interpret system logs for events and incidents reflective of unauthorized access or operational irregularities and escalates for action as appropriate
- Develop response strategies and technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations and other designated products that help support the Insider Threat program
- Assist in the Identification, implementation, and management of associated technologies, services and solutions needed for the insider threat program to operate
- Operate effectively on a global team with limited oversight supporting “follow the sun” operational model
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years combined hands on experience within the fields of Insider Threat & Information Security
- Strong understanding of insider threat best practices, operations and current threat landscape
- Experience with insider threat related technologies, including DLP, UEBA, security monitoring while supporting global security team
- General understanding of data modelling and analytics, incident response, project management, business or security informatics, threat intelligence, audit & assurance, enterprise risk management, GDPR/CCPA, corporate compliance, security architecture/design strategy, policy or controls development, compliance readiness assessments (i.e. PCI, SOX, GLBA, FFIEC, etc.), system analysis and implementation, or related function
- Able to perform hands on analysis and triage of potential Insider Threats
- Able to operate effectively and efficiently on a global security team with limited to no direct oversight
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the firm
- Able to document and explain technical details to technical staff and executives
- Proficient in PowerPoint, well organized, detail oriented, with the ability to collect data, coordinate tasks and lead projects
