Java DevOps Engineer

One of my market leading client is urgently looking for a Java DevOps Engineer to join their team in Netherlands (Veldhoven)

Responsibilities:
As an IT DevOps Engineer you are involved in the development, implementation, (automated) testing, review, documentation and rollout of JAVA based solutions. You work as a member of an Agile team using the Scrum framework. With the team, you will be responsible for implementing new features, fixing issues and supporting users of the environment. You will closely collaborate with teams inside and outside of the Agile Release Train (ART) to deliver a stable and usable product.

• Design and build JAVA based back-end solutions
• Develop and improve new features for the customer and end-users
• Further develop, implement and migrate DevOps processes and products
• Monitoring and IT management processes
• Advise on the usage of DevOps products and services

Experience needed:

• 3-5 years working experience
• Good knowledge of JAVA and the JAVA framework
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Understanding and practical experience with:
• TDD process
• Back-end development
• Maven build process
• Windows OS knowledge
• MS Office applications
• Data modelling
• Agile experience (Scrum/SAFe)
• Bachelor level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, SW Engineering, Embedded Systems or Information Technology.
