Role:

You will work in a scrum team within the Online Interaction department that focuses on the development and maintenance of interaction facilities. There are interfaces with portals and forms teams within Interaction Online. Together with colleagues you work on the whole development process i.e. refinement of the assignment, budgeting and planning tasks, developing and testing up to and including demonstrating the functionality to the users. We are looking for an operations engineer with experience in monitoring the quality of a service. This concerns the availability and health applications. The engineer is also active in the field of maintenance, incidents and reporting. It is your result areas (together with colleagues) managing Web technology in the broadest sense of the word, bringing to production and managing customer systems, creating and helping to resolve incidents, testing the quality of the solutions through log research, monitoring, alerting and setting up reports.

Skills:

• experience with tools such as Confluence and Jira
• xperience with powershell and/or with Python/Bash
• experience with one or more of the supporting products (pre) namely: HCL Websphere Portal and Web Content Manager, HCL Lightweight Enterprise Apps (LEAP), Mindbreeze Enterprise Search, Matomo Web Analytics Tooling, cWordpress WCM and Moodle, Quark XML Authoring and Publishing engine

Knowledge of the following products:

Linux (Redhat) on IBM Pure Application System (IPAS), Openshift Container Technology, Ansible – Jenkins for CICD pipeline, Hashicorp Consul-Vault for security and services discovery, IBM Secure Access Manager for Authentication and Authorization issues, Programming in Javascript, Python and Script for deployment and security, Splunk
