One of my market leading client is urgently looking for a QA Engineer to join their team in Switzerland (Zurich).

As an QA engineer you will work together with business users and members of the development team to provide quality systems that: improve productivity, decrease operational risk, and enable the business to expand.
Role Responsibility:
- Defect reporting and tracking activities
- Creating manual test cases
- Good experience of Test Management tools like ALM or Octane
- Experience with UAT testing and Release Mgmt. activities
- Collaboration with BAs and Developers, as well as QAs across the other teams
- Maintain test data required for both Manual and Automation testing
- Execute automated test cases, record test results, analyze test failures – using Selenium or UFT or any other Test Automation tool
- Working closely with, and giving demos to, Business Users
- Responsible for giving green for Go-Live
- Preparing and submitting Test Artifacts
- Identify candidates suitable for automation, plan for automation use cases
- Provide mentorship, support, and backup for other QA team members
Requirements:
- Overall experience 6+ years
- Good Java skills
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing techniques, including functional, non-functional, system integration, and testing across many phases of a project
- Well versed with Requirement Analysis, Test Design, Test Execution and Reporting activities
- Hands-on knowledge of JIRA
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and experience participating in an Agile team
