Leading financial service organisation based in Amsterdam are looking for a Senior Java Architect/IT Lead on a 6-month contract, with likelihood of extension.

The role:

As Senior Java Architect/IT lead, you oversee all aspects of managing this department, from HR responsibility to steering on actual solutions to be delivered in line with the architecture. In the coming quarters there is a heavy focus on getting the hygiene back on track, meaning that out of time problems and incidents need to be fixed, resourcing mix need to be brought up to par (from a heavy outsourced environment to a more stable mix between in – and externals/vendor resources) and all sort of DevOps optimizations need be ingested, such as test automation, monitoring and pipeline adoption.
