My client is looking for Solution Designer, and I wanted to know whether this would be of interest to you or not?

Job: Solution Designer

Location: Edinburgh/London

Duration: 6- 12 months ( Contract)

Rate: 500 GBP/Day ( Inside IR35)

Skills, knowledge and experience needed for Role-

• – Experience in designing streaming solutions using Streamsets and Kafka

– Experience with ETL, data warehouse / big data architectures and design patterns

• – Knowledgeable of technologies like Informatica Powercentre, DEI/BDM, MongoDB, Hadoop, AWS
• – Some experience of logical and physical data modelling

– Ability to understand complex data requirements and challenge assumptions

– Self motivated willing to drive the work forward on their own initiative

– Strong collaboration skills and an effective team player

– Capable of working within a changing environment where work priorities and specific requirements can be subject to change at short notice.

– Knowledge of RBS systems and data would be useful but is not essential.

– Good communication and presentation skills

– Experience of using industry standard models and tools
