One of my leading transportation client in the Netherlands is urgently looking for a Test Automation Engineer.

These are the job requirements
- HBO/WO work and thinking level;
- Education in a relevant field (think: computer science, software engineering, mathematics, econometrics, artificial intelligence, etc.);
- Demonstrated experience in a Microsoft .NET environment;
- Demonstrated experience building pipelines, preferably in Azure;
- Demonstrated experience with automating various test types (integration tests, chain tests, functional tests, unit tests) for both backend and frontend systems;
- Knowledge of CI/CD, test automation, tooling around test automation;
- Broader DevOps experience is an advantage (think: logging, monitoring, hosting);
- Good communication skills and proactive: on the way to production you work together with other teams and ICT partners;
- An entrepreneurial attitude: you like to take the initiative and are strong in giving and receiving feedback.

- No “standard” test pipelines: because you work within both Development and R&D, many of the test requirements are not trivial. Some of the odd ones out: some calculations give hardware-dependent results, some calculations take more than five hours, some screens must be able to show complete schedules.

- You are part of the team and work closely with the developers: the same workflow and quality requirements apply to the code of the test automation as for the applications themselves.
