Tester – Utility’s

We have a current opportunity for a Tester Consultant on a contract basis inside IR35. The position will be based in Reading office. For further information about this position please apply.

This is for a leading UK Consultancy who has years of experience in said mentioned area. They are looking for contractors who are able to work on a 6-12 Month project, onsite in Reading, with some days remote.

Must Have :

* Utility Application testing, Functional Testing, running through the business process flow (billing etc), experience with writing testing script, able to successfully perform end to end test ensuring correct bills are produced. Perform testing of business reports using Power BI. Experience working in iterative environment like Agile mode.
* Should have worked on any Test management and Defect management tools.
* Ability to create, assign and track defects to closure
* Efficient planning skills and an ability to adhere to timelines
* Good communication skills

Desirable:
* Knowledge of Utility organisation
* Billing Application
* MS Dynamics
* Finance Operations
* Azure-DevOps is important
* AMT Market Flow Application – Used with the Big 6 Utility providers in UK.
* Experience in energy, electric meter, and water utilities testing.
* Testing experiences in AMI, Smart Meters, Outage Management, Demand Side Management, In Home Displays, Meter Data Management System, Energy Management System.
* Expertise in knowledge with following domain like Customer Management, Information Management, Collections, Billing & Pricing, Acquisition & Enrolment, Bill Print & Correspondence, Complaint Management.
* Knowledge with Risk Management, Scheduling & Nominations, Data Feed and Market Integration, Integration and SOA services, Infrastructure Management.
* Expertise in testing of the simulator includes sophisticated mathematical models of actuators, control systems, dynamics, and sensors.
* Proficient is the factory industry standard for control system software in the energy and utilities.
